From tickling the ivories at the age of 3, my musical journey began with the piano. As the years unfolded, so did my repertoire, embracing the guitar, and bass, and ultimately finding my rhythm as a drummer by the age of 12. School bands and stage performances at Jerudong International School marked my early forays into the world of live music. The bug for music production bit during my GCSE music days, and by the time I hit 16, I found myself knee-deep in mixing and mastering, releasing tracks on Spotify while navigating the challenges of A-levels in Music Technology.
Transitioning to Sunway University for a Contemporary Music Audio Technology course broadened my horizons. A newfound fascination for live sound mixing and events sprouted, leading me to dive headfirst into the vibrant scene around Kuala Lumpur. Nearing the end of 2022, I found myself in the midst of numerous live sound events, laying the foundation for my Final Year Project (FYP). This research delves into the intricacies of live sound mixing and acoustics, a testament to my evolving passion for the field. Today, my creative pursuits extend to post-production, mixing live shows, capturing audio, and curating mixes that aim to encapsulate the essence of each performance. I'm eagerly anticipating the growth that lies ahead in this dynamic and ever-evolving field. One thing I can say about myself is that I find myself doing huge jobs that I never thought I could handle while also small jobs because I always believe that there is something to be learned, no matter what you're doing. I don't think I can ever 'outgrow' the small jobs as those. Allow you to get the reps in. This allows you to be more versatile and perfect your craft better.

I have just recently crossed the 1000-hour threshold of working in the events industry here in KL, and I am proud to say that I have grown exponentially.
